My Daughter, the Style Expert

As we were doing all those last minute things before we left the house this morning, Melissa comes up to me and says," Mom, I liked your hair better when Mr. Garreth cut it."

"Oh, really?'

"Yeah, it looked better on the sides and all."

Just how I want to start my day being told by my 8 (almost 9) year old that I'm having a bad hair day...and I thought it look half-way decent today!

Then later at supper she came up to Drew," Dad, are those pants new? I've never seen them before."

"No, honey, I even took them to Iraq with me."

"Oh"

Now, she's the fashion police. But at least she's back in good health...me on the other hand is a different story.

Tonight was our first AWANA meeting...I talked so long and so loud that I now have no voice...so much for trying to work...
