Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, everyone!

We hope you are enjoying this celebration of our Lord's birth. Even though we miss being with family, we are enjoying ourselves here on Paradise.

Yesterday (our Christmas Eve) was the day I finally got our Christmas cards out! By the time they get to your part of the world, they will be Happy New Year cards. Maybe next year they'll get out sooner!

Last night we had a quiet dinner, then went to the candle-light service at the Chapel. We ended the night opening presents - which as usual the kids must have been really good this year, b/c they got tons of stuff!

They all got water guns and "webkinz" - (a stuff animal that comes with a special code they use on a web-site to play games.) They also got several puzzles, board games, craft stuff. But their big present came time morning - the Wii.

Yes, we finally broke down and got them a video game system. They are thrilled beyond belief!

I got what every girl likes: purses, software, and jewelry! Such fun stuff! I guess I was a good girl too! (While Drew was in Manila last week, he got me some beautiful black pearls. So wonderful - both the pearls and Drew!)

Today we are just hanging out at the house and enjoying all of our gifts. Tomorrow we are off to Saipan for the rest of the week. I know it sounds odd to leave one island for another for vacation, but hey! We'll take what we can get.
