Part of William's homework this year is to read out loud. One of the first books he read to Melissa and Ben was Narnia. We've also just finished a nightly devotional based on Narnia. So, it's been a Narnia fall for us.
As I said a few weeks ago, we've been watching a lot of movie lately. A few weeks ago we watched the BBC version of "Narnia". It was ....interesting.... And very, very long! This weekend we watched the new version of it. Soooo much better!!
In the BBC version the beavers were six feet tall...very odd. But that's what you got for special effects in the 1980's!
But the BBC also did movies of several of the other Narnia books. I'm sure over the Christmas holidays, we'll watch more of them...and laugh at the six foot beavers!
