Just Another Mommy Day

Today I spend four and half hours at the hospital.

And for once this year, it was NOT in the ER!!!

All three kids had their an eye check-up. Melissa has been reading glasses for a year and half and was past-due for a check up. Her eyes are the same, but we will get some new glasses since these are looking a little worst for the wear and very, very crooked.

Both boys check-out great and are seeing fine and dandy.

Which is quite amazing since both their parents wear glasses - and Drew started in the first grade. Not the greatest DNA for the eyes there.

All three also had their eye dilated - which is what took so long. They were not so happy at the eye drops, but did seem to enjoy playing with the dark-disposable glasses they were given.

Just a Mommy day: eye appointment, grocery store, watched maybe ten plays in the big football game, eye appointment, eye appointment, cook dinner...now off to bed!!
