Saturday night we left the kids home with a sitter (if we are gone for more than two hours, they still have to have a sitter) and Drew and I went to dinner and a movie. We really enjoyed the restaurant - well, pub. I got shrimp - where were just okay- but Drew ordered the best tuna we have ever had! It was seared and encrusted with macadamia nuts and sweet chili sauce and served with an Asian salad - sooooo good!!
We also were excited when we saw the musician setting up...until they started to play blue-grass...not our style. But they were good. I've surprised at the live music here - most hotels have several groups. Many are in places were you can have coffee and dessert and just sit back and enjoy.
We saw the movie "21". Overall, it was good, but I do think there were several problems with the plot - some parts just didn't make sense - like one guy hiding his winnings (over three hundreds thousand dollars) in the ceiling of his dorm room. Hmmm...you're a student of MIT and you don't take that much money to a bank????? Not very believable.
The movie is based on a true story of some students from MIT counting cards at blackjack - and winning. Drew and I saw the documentary on them on TV - which was very good.
