tragic

In Christian music circles there's probably no one more well-know than Steven Curtis Chapman as he has recorded and written some of the most popular Christian music. The other day a friend sent me an email saying that Steven Curtis Chapman's youngest daughter was killed (read here). In another article I found it said that one of her older brothers was driving the car and didn't see her until it was too late. (here also has a video taken a few months ago)

So incredibly tragic.

One minutes the family is getting ready to celebrate a high school graduation and enjoy a long weekend and in the next they are planning a funeral and wondering how they'll survive the next day. It's hard to imagine how painful it is to lose a child to an accident, but now they have the added complication of dealing with a child who caused the accident. I'm sure this will haunt this brother (as well as the rest of the family) for the rest of his life.

It's in times like these that make people wonder what God is up to - because this just seems like too much for one family to deal with.
