While Drew was working today (yes, it's a Saturday but he is going out of town next week), the kids and I watched "Akeelah and the Bee", a movie about a girl from LA going to the national spelling bee. (And for of you who really know me, you know I would NEVER see myself at a spelling bee because I can NOT spell worth a flip - that's why God made spell check.)
ANYWAY!!
Just as the movie was coming to the end and we would find out if she won or not, the lights went out.
Yes, this was be the negative side of living on a island in the middle of the ocean...far, far, far from any land.
At least this time the power was only out at two hours or so.....and yes, we were able to find out the ending to the movie.
You're going to have to watch it to find out! But worth your time!

I haven't watched the movie yet. I'll have to see if our library has it.
My dh spent several years in Guam growing up. He says that is where he got all his "angel kisses" (freckles). LOL!
