I love it when Monday is a holiday! Now that's the right way to start off a week. Of course, Memorial Day is to be a solemn day remembering those who gave their lives for our country. We were lazy and did not attend the ceremony the island had.
But I did enjoy the day off! Melissa spent most of the day at a friend's house, Ben played a lot of the computer, and Drew took William on a hike. I kept up with the laundry, cleaned out Ben's clothes & toys, and read a book.
A great day, don't ya think?
Drew and I also watched a Will Smith movie. I really like him! The movie was a little bizarre and sad - Seven Pounds. Yesterday we all went to see Night A the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian. We all really enjoyed it! Lots of laughs. I also watched The Devil Wears Prada this weekend....not as good as I thought it would be. Glad I got it free at the library.
Tomorrow brings another movie: Earth. I saw this with Melissa's class and tomorrow I get to see it again with Ben's class. And oh, yeah. We have the DVDs that this movie came from. (BBC's Planet Earth)
I'm now very knowledgeable about the Earth.

Your day sounds wonderful to me. I crave quiet and productivity! I first typed silence. But as mothers, do we ever REALLY get silence. I know I don't!
I too liked Seven Pounds. Adolph didn't. It too WAY too long to get to the point for his taste. And, there was nothing being shot or blown up. So it had 2 counts against it.
