Last week the kids have participated in a drama camp called Missoula Children's Theatre. This group comes into town with everything they need to put on a play except the cast - that's where the kids get to help out. The first year we were here in Guam our neighbors were involved and we attended the performance - I was really surprised by what the kids can do in a week!
Last year we missed the camp due to being in back in the States. The kids were very happy to be back in Guam in time to participate this summer. This year the play is "The Jungle Book". Melissa is a part of the Wolf Pack and William is an Assistance Director.
On last Thursday William actually had to play a part since one of the key actors stayed home sick. Later that day he told me he wish he had tried out for a part because he "really liked being on stage".
Saturday morning they put the play on - and they did a great job!!
