to Melissa!! The Big Double Ones - 11. She's very excited. Of course, she would have been more excited if school was cancelled today because of the storm, but her luck ran out while the storm slowed down. It'll hit tonight and sunny skies are forcasted for tomorrow. I seriously doubt base schools will be closed.
But the island's luck may be been right on target for this is a small storm - just a tropical depression, but Saturday? Now that's a different story. A full typhoon is excepted to pass about a hundred miles north of us. It'll actually hit Siapan, not us - so maybe our luck is still with us.
But I don't see any school being cancelled - the kids are very sad over that one!
BUT!!! We do have a half day of school for a teacher training thing, so we'll celebrate Melissa while trying to say dry.
No beach and sun for her birthday. But this storm will pass, then we'll be soaking in the rays!
