Merry Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve from Guam!! The kids are so excited!! We open our presents on Christmas Eve, so they are counting down the hours. I actually have a few more gifts I need to wrap.....and yes, the hours are dwindling down.

We are actually not at home. Last night we have a party to attend downtown, so Drew decided to just get a room at the hotel. We were hoping to spend the morning in the pool...but no. We are in the mist of a storm. Which is one reason I'm glad we didn't have to drive home last night - the winds were very strong. So strong in fact that a few friends had their canopies to be destroyed. Glad we didn't have to drive in that.

We won two door prizes last night! One $25 gift card from a local mall and then a $50 card from a local store. YEAH!! I think I will skip the mall a few days before I spend that money, but we do plan to try to find the local store to see what all they have to offer.

For our Christmas Day we are planning to attend the chapel's beach-side service, then we will celebrate Benjamin being baptised in the ocean. Later in the day we plan to eat our Christmas meal at the USO - they offer free Christmas dinner for the military. We've heard good things about their events, so we're excited.

Merry Christmas to you all .....we miss you all...
