Our soccer season started yesterday. William had his practice first at four. We all knew it was a bad sign when the director of the youth center showed up. The coach got called off island and the director wanted to know who was the assistant coach.
Dead silence.
So, practice was cancelled.
Ben's practice started at 5. I got a call at 4:30 saying that the fields were not ready and so practice was cancelled.
Are you kidding me!!??
They've known for weeks when practice started and no one made sure the goals on the new field were up?? Can't the kids kick a ball around without a goal??
I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I was already disappointed for William. There was only enough for three teams so he gets four games instead of six.
On a different note....did all of you enjoy the beginning of the new Oprah Season?? Was it a good show?? Please, give me details! Why, you ask?? We have no Oprah here.
Let me repeat:
WE. HAVE. NO. OPRAH.
For three years??!!! Dr. Phil I can live without, but Oprah???

Is your mother going to tape Ophra for you? If she isn't, I will try to figure out how to do it and make a stab at it.
We are really enjoying hearing from you this way and keeping up with all your activities, etc.
Bummer! (about the soccer I mean..) I guess I don't understand the Oprah thing - not a huge fan. Can you watch online?
