Joining In

It's disappointing to see some of my favorite actors in this. I wonder if they actually read a script before they sign for it.

I did not work yesterday. I ended up cleaning the house and doing errands. All in all it was a very busy and productive day.

I did not get the job I applied for - didn't even get an interview because my application is STILL not complete. The system was to send emails out for my professional references, but did not. It took me two weeks to realize that. By that time they had already interviewed people. I actually know the lady who did get the job and she will do a great job.

I was disappointed but when Monday (yesterday) came, I was glad I didn't have to go into work!! I'll still keep an eye on the job list. I was told today that several jobs will be coming open soon. I don't know if they are anything I would like. But subbing is still working, so there's no rush. I do want to look into the child development center - they are to have some kind of preschool program as well.

The weather here has been very windy!! But not as warm...still around 80 degree, though. It's very odd to see Christmas decorations out while we are wearing shorts.... Never before have Drew and I realized how the weather affected our "holiday" feelings. It just doesn't seem like the holiday time of the year.

But we'll live...and we'll think of those of you as you shovel snow off your driveways while we're at the beach snorkeling!!
