Oh, The Responsibilites....

Part of the joy (and yes, I use that term loosely) of living in base housing in each week they inspect your yard to see if it meets the standards. If they don't you get a ticket - get too many tickets and you get kicked out of housing and are forced to live off base with no housing allowance.

Not good.

So, we try to keep the yard up and avoid getting a ticket. One thing we have to do every six months is power-wash our side walks. Since we have lived here about nine months now and have yet to clean out sidewalks, when our neighbor had the machine for the weekend so we used it for a few hours.

Its been awhile since I've gotten so dirty using water.

We have a small crack in our sidewalk (its from the way the laid the concert: badly) and every time the water hit the crack - dirt went flying into the air and all over me.

As I said, not good.
But at least now half (we ran out of sunlight so we didn't get to finish) our sidewalks are clean - maybe the inspectors won't notice the other half...

All you would have had to do was tell Riley is was a "dirty job" and he'd be all over it!
Have I told you how much he loves Dirty Jobs and Mike Rowe?
