Thursday

We are now at the lake with Drew's family and so far William is in the fishing lead with 3 (plus one shoe), and Ben and Melissa both have caught two (fish only -no shoes). They actually got to the lake before I did and were fishing when I arrived. They've really have been looking forward to the fishing.

Today just was a great lazy day of fishing, swimming, games and just hanging out with Papaw and Uncle David. Tonight we went to some friends' house farther down the lake for dinner. Wonderful food...fabulous food: b-b-que, slaw, squash casserole, peach and blueberry cobbler...delicious! And of course, since someone else cooked it all, it tasted even better.

Tomorrow every one is coming here to Pat's house for the day. We're hoping to get some boating and tubing in before mass at 11. (Pat was able to get the priest to come here for the daily mass.) With even more food to follow. There's fireworks over the river at the end of the day, but I'm not sure if we'll go or not. We'll have our own fireworks here on the lake Saturday night.
