Just Another Day in Paradise

Even though Melissa's and Ben's soccer games today were rained out, I thought you would like to see them play - these are pictures from last week. Ben's game was as hot as it could get here in Guam. Melissa's game was looking like a scorcher too, but a nice rain came and cooled every one off. We did have to stop for 20 minutes to let the lightening pass. Of course, we all wondered if sitting on the side-lines in a lightening storm was any better than running on the field during a lightening storm...things to ponder when you are outside with lightening and rain with an umbrella in your hand...a very large umbrella...
So far our weekend has been really nice - I stayed home and sewed all day yesterday! What a great day.

With a few breaks for reading and TV watching.

I was able to make great progress on the two baby quilts I promised to friends here. Today we'll be gone, but I'm hoping to work on them again tomorrow. Today after church we're headed to the beach with another family - should be fun!
